We'll always remember Susan Cabot for her sterling turn as the WASP WOMAN ("A beautiful woman by day-a lusting queen wasp by night") in Roger Corman's 1960 film of the same name. Cabot met her untimely end at the hands of her son, who bludgeoned the one time Universal contract actress to death as she slept, then ransacked the home to make it appear that there had been a burglary. He was later convicted of involuntary manslaughter.
